Project Management is an internal agency link to agency operational functions collaborating and managing Disney advertising campaigns. Project Management is responsible for projects from inception to execution across people, resources, and scope. Building and maintaining project plans, outlining clear deliverables, and working with key stakeholders to keep project on schedule and always applying a lens for process improvement and efficiency opportunities. This role will work cross functionally with Account Management, Creative, Production and Business Affairs to help drive Disney Experiences business results and stewardship of the Yellow Shoes agency reputation.

You will report to Sr Mgr.-Project Mgmt

You Will:

  • Develop detailed project schedules that ensure Account, Creative, and Production are aligned, aware of important project milestones, updates to timelines, and call out potential conflicts.
  • Lead project management of highly complex / Sr leadership level initiatives.
  • Partner with Yellow Shoes leadership to identify solutions for process and resource optimization.
  • Partner with Account Management to initiate projects in internal project software (Workfront).
  • Guide projects from beginning to end as the "go-to" person on progress and status, and ensure projects are updated in Workfront as milestones are met.
  • Lead weekly status meetings with primary teams to ensure everyone is aware of where projects are in the life cycle and the status on near-term deliverables.
  • Call out scheduling, resource, or other issues well in advance and offer up solutions for addressing them while ensuring the team is aware of timing effects on requested changes and communicate to all impacted partners.
  • Proactively collaborate with Creative, Production and Business Affairs teams to ensure projects flow through all stages of project pipeline
  • Properly vet all creative work through Business Affairs at all stages utilizing proper vetting channels in alignment with Account, Creative and Production.
  • Establish entrepreneurial mindset and drive projects and work with high level of autonomy.
  • Develop  Internal Agency Recaps coming for executive reviews beginning with the initial brief through creative development and ultimately final delivery. Exude excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills with heightened attention to detail.

You have:

  • 3+ years of ad agency project management, professional marketing, or related experience.
  • Experience leading a high volume of complex projects with moderate to high level of autonomy.
  • Advanced knowledge of communication media including video, print, digital, social, email, collateral, OOH, and the production processes supporting them.
  • Proficiency in establishing and maintaining relationships with partners and peers to problem solve and inspire others.
  • Optimize projects for redundancy and establish efficiencies across business segments and campaigns.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $91,900.00-$126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered
