Risk Compliance Officer, Compliance Testing -Memphis, TN

FinTrust Connect has partnered with a regulatory-focused regional banking institution to identify an experienced Risk Compliance Officer in Memphis, TN. This position is responsible for executing compliance testing across a wide range of consumer, trust, and commercial products. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience interpreting financial regulations and conducting compliance audits with minimal oversight.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial institution
• 2-3 years' background in compliance testing or internal audit preferred
• Strong understanding of state and federal regulations (e.g., FRB, CFPB, BSA/AML)
• Intermediate knowledge of banking products and services
• Legal background or formal training preferred
• Proficiency with data analysis, compliance tools, and MS Office Suite

Description:

• Execute detailed compliance testing for new and existing financial products
• Collaborate with business units to gather documentation and support testing reviews
• Identify and communicate compliance gaps and risks effectively to senior management
• Prepare reports and findings in accordance with internal audit and regulatory standards
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to established quality benchmarks
• Support ad hoc compliance projects and strategic initiatives
• Report directly to the Compliance Testing Director and maintain clear communication throughout the testing lifecycle
