Senior GIS / Knowledge Systems Analyst"
Duty Description
Will manage and oversee the integration, analysis, and application of geospatial data to support operational decision-making. Will assist to design, develop, and implement GIS technologies, ensuring efficient data collection, mapping, spatial analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities include managing GKN, SharePoint, GIS tools, and developing dashboards, maps, and KM platforms, while ensuring data accuracy and supporting information integration across all systems.
Education, Certifications, and Qualifications
- Secret Clearance (TS Eligibility Preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Computer Science, or related field
- Proficiency in ArcGIS, SharePoint, and dashboard tools
- Familiarity with Army Mapper, AGE, AMPS, SharePoint, RPLANS, GFEBS
- DoD 8570 certification preferred
Experience
- 8+ years with knowledge management, and KM platforms
- ETMS2 Experience
- Experience with ICE reporting, GIS mapping, and aviation systems
- GIS Expertise: Proficient in ESRI tools (ArcGIS, ArcPRO) for spatial data analysis, feature creation, and cartographic design.
- Database Management: Skilled in SQL and connecting GIS to relational databases like Access for aircraft asset management.
- Training & Support: Experienced in providing GIS troubleshooting and training, with timely responses to various request levels.
- GIS Product Development: Ability to develop GIS products (maps, charts, graphs) to support customer operational needs.
- Experience training staff, develop technical products, and coordinating across various customer divisions.
