About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing NYC real estate owner/developer with a portfolio of assets exceeding over $3B. They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury Analyst to join their finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily cash management operations, maintaining banking relationships, and ensuring optimal liquidity and fund transfers across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate, monitor, and verify domestic and international wire transfers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with banking partners to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain positive relationships.
• Oversee daily cash balances and bank activity across multiple accounts to ensure adequate liquidity and prevent overdrafts.
• Continuously monitor market conditions and banking offerings to identify favorable interest rates, FX rates, and fee structures.
• Assist in daily cash positioning, short-term cash forecasting, and ensuring funds are available to meet operational needs.
• Support the preparation of treasury reports, perform reconciliations, and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Assist in streamlining treasury operations and implementing best practices for enhanced efficiency and control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant finance or treasury experience preferred; internship experience will also be considered.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with treasury systems or banking platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
