Visit to Barli Development Institute for Rural Women-December 2014

Students of MBA Sem 1 went on a visit to Barli Institute  on December 6, 2014. The purpose of the visit was to give the students an insight regarding how education and empowerment can bring prosperity . Students can become agents of change with the capacity to recognize and seize opportunities for the improvement of social and economic conditions. During field visit students learnt the method of how to  grow , dry, process, store and preserve fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and lentils, functioning of gender friendly, smokeless solar cookers, rain water harvesting ,waste water management etc. The visit was organized by Dr Rajeshwari Gwal ; co-ordinator of HR Club- Sanmarg .
