Job Description

Well-established family law firm in Denver is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 2-3 years of experience to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and thrive with lots of support and autonomy. The firm offers excellent mentorship, career development, and opportunities for growth and advancement!

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to provide legal counsel.
  • Analyze complex financial documents.
  • Draft pleadings, briefs, settlement proposals, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Manage case deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Meet billable hours requirement of 110 hours per month.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience as an attorney, with at least 1 year in family law.
  • Active Colorado license in good standing.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Empathy, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.

Offering a base salary of $90,000 - $108,000 commensurate with experience, comprehensive benefits package, and an excellent bonus structure.

This is a contract to hire role with an anticipated transition into a permanent position within 60-120 days from initial start date.
