The Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s interactions with the public by implementing content strategies on social media platforms.
The role focuses on enhancing user engagement, promoting brand loyalty, and driving conversation in the crypto community. The position involves close collaboration with marketing, BDs, and product teams to craft a unified message that resonates with traders, users, and crypto enthusiasts globally.
This role is crucial for keeping pace with the fast-evolving digital landscape in the cryptocurrency industry.
Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging and informative content for various social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Discord. Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.
Planning and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and brand voice. This includes content planning, campaign management, and community engagement strategies tailored to different platforms.
Content Creation: Produce and curate engaging content that communicates market insights, platform updates, new features, partnerships, and promotional events. This involves working closely with graphic designers, content creators, and video producers to create visually appealing and informative posts.
Influencer and Partner Collaboration: Identify, vet, and collaborate with influencers and partners to expand reach and tap into new audiences. Coordinate with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure coherent campaign execution.
Analytics and Optimization: Utilize analytics tools to monitor, evaluate, and optimize the effectiveness of social media campaigns and strategies based on performance data. Prepare detailed reports on the audience's engagement and campaign performance to inform future strategies.
Community Management: Manage day-to-day social interactions with the community across various platforms, ensuring timely and accurate responses to user queries and comments. Foster a positive community spirit and manage online discussions by monitoring trends and participant interactions.
Crisis Management: Monitor the social landscape for potential crises or negative feedback and work with the team to provide timely responses. Respond promptly to crises or adverse events on social media, managing communication to uphold the company's reputation. This includes drafting statements in response to market events or operational issues.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, BDs, and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
Performance Metrics: Measure the success of every social media campaign, assess the results against the ROI and KPIs.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all content and community engagement complies with the laws and regulations applicable to crypto exchanges in all operational jurisdictions.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Required: Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role working at top-tier cryptocurrency exchanges such as Binance, OKX, Bybit, BingX, Bitget, FTX etc. is highly preferred.
Excellent knowledge of Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other social media best practices.
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Extensive knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets.
Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
Proficiency with social media analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.
