To churn out the best quality humanware that befits the industry, academia need to centrifuge with industry. Academia establishes theories, Industry propagates practices. To ingrain sound theory and contemporary practices in the students , education cannot be restricted to the four walls of classroom. Either students go to the industry or the industry comes to the students. At Acropolis (North Campus) we practice both in the form of industrial visits and expert talk.
Industry visits/ Educational tours
Acropolis strongly believes in supporting classroom teachings with industry practices. The abstract theories and concepts that are taught in the lectures are reinforced when the students see the practical implementation of the same in industries. Keeping up with the commitment to provide the latest state of art education to our students , the institutes often complements classroom teaching with industry tours.
To foster learning by doing, we have five clubs functional at Acropolis, namely- Kaizen club, Sanmarg club, Mulyakan club, Srijan club, marketing club. These club are formal groups for the students , by the students and of the students. The students organize various activities in their group like- Quizzes, games, competitions and in doing so develop planning & organizing skills , leadership qualities and so on.
Value added Certifications
Apart from giving practical and conceptual knowledge to the students, we at Acropolis believe in toping up the offerings with a few value added certification courses relevant to the stream. Based on the students interest Acropolis offers certification courses like- SAP, Sigma, Digital Marketing, Finance modules etc.
Mentoring & Hand Holding
Every students is allotted a mentor, the moment student steps in the institute. The mentor felicitates and supports the student during it’s entire tenure at Acropolis. The mentor,who is also a faculty of the institute, is there for the students to discuss and sort out the academic, professional and personal problems. This is very helpful for the students who come from towns and suburbs to get adjusted to the requirement of professional education.
In order to make education student centric, we at AFMR use a bouquet of pedagogy techniques like- lectures, demonstration, simulations , projects, training, management games and role palying.
Education at AFMR is not only replete with management wisdom but the institute also offers valubased content. In order to sensitize the Gen X towards their social responsibility various events and activities are carried by the institute involving students in the planning and execution.
